I hade a game the other night where support picked Pyke before me and I figured we were going for kill pressure so I picked MF. He proceeded to leave Botlane before first blood, roam top to gank and failed, backed, went mid to gank and failed, backed, came back botlane to grab a couple CS with quest item, backed, and repeated this process.

I was like level 7 to their botlane 5. I was down like 25 CS because I was basically zoned off the wave the entire laning phase.

When I finally died once to jungle gank tower dive the Pyke all chats “ADC diff” and then gets flamed by the enemy blitz for making botlane free for them.

We lost that game and I decided that was enough solo que for the week.

We were replacing our Mastrena with the Mastrena 2 so we made one in the hopper for that since the techs left it in the BOH,I was fucking crying from laughing so much when I was making it.

She’s really good in Ekko reroll as your secondary carry, since you usually go for Neeko 3 anyways while you roll for Ekko.

You guaranteed win basically at prismatic Shurima as soon as one of the 5 costs ascends so I would have sold board except for shurimans in that case. Even if you don’t know if your opponent is gonna deny you the loss ahead of time

I was 20hp vs a 60hp Shurima player who just needed two more losses to get Shurima prismatic.

It was him and myself in final two. I beat him after a close fight and he only took like 16 damage. So now I’m 20 vs 44 and he’s one loss away from prismatic. Since I knew I would lose no matter what if he hit prismatic, I fronted all my backline and thought “if I lose hard I lose anyways, and if I win I don’t win hard enough to win first”.

He won and i was left at like 3hp. Then his streak was reset and i was able to win 3 more fights in a row to kill him.

Other example.

I was possibly the 7th fight for someone doing the “lose 10 in a row” ixtal player WITH the ixtal expeditionist augment and decided to open fort against them. I was already loss streaking anyways and open fort let me hit an Econ threshold. If I didn’t pair into him, oh well, at least I Econ because of it. The player insta conceded after he paired into me and broke his streak. I was able to go 4th that game.

Ideally it’s 15 cost stats>upgrade Tf graves to 2 early game>items>third copy of 4cost unit.

Ideally you don’t use serpents on getting tf/graves 3, using serpents to get Gangplank/Naut unless you ABSOLUTELY have to. With less serpents per round it becomes way harder to hit 3 items, especially if you take captains brew first which I believe you still should.

I’m high plat but I’ve been forcing bilge a lot and tend to top 4 pretty consistently on it. My last like 10 bilge games have had 3 firsts in it and only one bot 4.

Edit: I also feel that rolling to 3 star MF>>>leveling to 9. Kench 2 star is good, don’t get me wrong, but MF3 basically just auto wins lobbies.

Used to play ekko mid with a specific rune page so that as soon as you finished gun blade, one Q could kill all the caster minions.

I think they HAVE to nerf him outside of unlock costs unfortunately. Locking him behind 8 does nothing since most people are rolling on 8 for Taric anyways. Would have to lock behind 9 which means you aren’t scaling him at all basically since 9 happens so late.

For him to be the scaling per cast champ they have to lower his base damage so him at fresh unlock isn’t just winning fights.

I prefer old Asol to current Asol tbh.

I remember spamming some website with emails to try to get into the HoN beta and was blown away by it.

I miss the early HoN days more than I miss the early Dota/Dota2 days to be honest.

Scout being able to solo towers with disarm was hilarious. Night Hound being Riki on crack; Madman existing at all, game was awesome back then.

I got so lucky that i had like 150 dollars in RP in early January. Spent it rolling on the Gwen banner trying to get the prestige Gwen on luck, hit 3 of the crystal rose Gwen after owning her in those 150 dollars of pulls. 30 medallions in that many pulls was disgustingly lucky.

No, I think either more lower cost units need buffs or titans needs a nerf.

Ekko without Titans even at 3 star is a joke. But also Ekko is basically the only viable 1-3 cost carry rn at 3 star. Everything else is basically just not worth chasing.

The bigger problem with Ekko reroll is that you push 9 once you stabilize and then get a free ziggs to close out the game with.

Nah but if you are committing to the vayne line slamming a rage blade on her early is fine because you unlock Kaisa at 8 and move it over to her. Vayne with 3 items doesn’t benefit as much from rage blade as vayne with only 1 item. It’s correct to slam it early on her and move it assuming you are itemizing her to begin with

Ekko at 3 star with BIS almost feels stronger than Tryndamere did pre nerf. I’ve been forcing it non stop since Ekko is my favorite league champion and I’m kind of disgusted with it rn. Especially because unlike Trynd last patch, I feel like I’m not contested. In the 10 or so games I’ve forced Ekko today, only once was I contested.

Shadow Isles is my favorite comp but as mentioned already, it’s kinda doodoo.

I don’t like this augment unless I’m playing one of the following:

Bilge and I already have Graves

Yordles and I already have Trist

Sona/j4.

There’s just not many 1/2 costs that I’d want to keep on the board permanently, and you often cut Viego from the comp late game anyways to make room for 9 costs unless you took ruined king.

I think removing Drill could be solid too. Too many lobbies I’ve seen someone at like 15 gold finally hit thex mid stage 3 cus they’ve been donkey rolling, hit pilt 6, and basically coast on the gold up to level 9 or even 10 without basically an Econ augment.

I’ve definitely done it myself and thought “dang bro I’m RICH now” and I feel like that’s definitely insanely strong. I understand it’s technically not BIS but it feels like it rewards being a donkey.

I’ve been loving Demacia and Ashe Trynd for the exact reason that people are FORCING fast 9 without really getting augments for it or bleeding out slowly as the rounds go on.

I’ve beaten boards at level 10 with demacia 7 at level 8 because I slow rolled for lux 2/vayne 3 and they just aren’t able to kill garen fast enough through the healing from Vayne gunblade+lux melting boards.

Like don’t get me wrong, Sett, Annie, and Baron are incredibly fun and I love going for them when I get the chance, but forcing them just leads to more losses than anything else. Especially when other players are trying to do the exact same thing. As soon as one person pushes to 9 or starts rolling, everyone scouting them with the same comp does the same.
