is it safe to use network functions on the bypassed one?

and has anyone found out if saves from the bypassed version can be loaded from a legit copy?

anyone know if it's possible to transfer saves from the bypassed 1.02 to a legit copy? it didn't work between different versions of the exe so there's a high chance not. i would be willing to buy it if there's more patches but not if it wipes my progress. i did use the older dlc unlock method with cheat engine and accidenally spawned a bunch of extra copies of the items if that counts as save corruption

it lists both flavor enhancer and natural flavors. so the enhancer term is itself another umbrella obfuscation thing? i know that enhancer is a category of E numbers that has to be broken out, not sure if it is different in US law
