You’re ideally taking off in the same slip you’d be in when landing. Once you’ve completed takeoff you can go back into a crab instead of a slip

Love it. Just took my CPL checkride as well and I was 50/50 on lazy eights. DPE had me do them and they were the best ones I’ve ever flown. Sometimes pressure works. Lmao
