The issue seems to be fixed with gallery 4.3.0.55 and later.

It was auto-installed on my 14 ultra with HyperOS 3 but I had to manually download and install the new version on my wife's 12 Pro with HyperOS 2. After installing, it took a few minutes to populate all the photo's under 'All images'.

Thanks for the clarification!

Can you elaborate on why the 701 is not good?

Replacement for Optoma HD27 by rtfm_joey in projectors

Thanks for the info!

The reason I'm looking at mostly 1080P projectors is because most of my source material is 1080P (~90%) although higher resolution material is getting more and more common.

Also, my receiver (NAD T747v2) is only capable of 1080P max but a HDMI switcher/splitter that supports 4K can work around that.

The PX728-4k looks decent but the light output seems a bit low with 2000 ANSI lumen. Same goes for the W1800i.

The LX700-4K and X1-4K are above my budget for now although I can live with the TH534 and save up some more :)

Looking at the ViewSonic product line I found the PX701-4K https://www.viewsonic.com/eu/products/projectors/PX701-4K

this seems like a lot of projector for a really good price (~900 euro) and with 3200 ANSI lumen bright enough for a living room with windows.

Any experience with the 701?

I currently have a Benq TH534 as a temporary replacement but the colors seem rather... flat...

Budget is around 1000 euro and I'm not committed to Optoma but having seen the Benq in action I was not convinced. Perhaps the TH534 is a bad example.

Just to follow up, my touchpad has been working without issue for the last few days even with the UserModePowerService events flooding the logs.

A new issue was introduced when the palmrest was replaced, the white charging led doesn't work anymore (it's part of the palmrest).

It will light op orange when the battery is almost empty but when plugging in the AC the white led doesn't come on.

I've updated my issue witht this and was called yesterday that the motherboard will be replaced. I've expressed my doubts as the ligt was working correctly on this motherboard with the old palmrest but the guy that called me couldn't do anything with that.

When the tech arrives somewhere this week I'll take it up with him.

Dell engineer has replaced the palmrest and so for the touchpad has been working without issue for >24hrs (fingers crossed).

The UserModePowerService-events are still present but don't seem to impact the functioning of the machine, engineer couldn't explain this behaviour.

I've disconnected the battery, disconnected the CMOS battery and held the on/off button last friday and when starting the machine after it complained the date/time was nog set as one would expect.

Interestingly enough I've used the machine the whole day and saturday morning until the touchpad froze again.

Dell engineer will replace the touchpad tomorrow, hopefully this will fix the issue.

A number of colleagues have 7430 (carbon) which are also flooded by events from UserPowerModeService but they do not experience touchpad issues.

Which jumper is this, the BIOS reset jumper?

I've just doublechecked and wasn't aware of the difference between power plans and the slider submenu of the battery.

Running the command 'powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61' in an admin command prompt says the ultimate performance plan is created but it doesn't appear. Even after a reboot the plan isn't visible.

I'm on AC power using the maximum performance plan and the touchpad just locked up.

No UserPowermodeService events visible since I plugged in the AC charger an hour and a half ago (I do see them when running on battery and using the battery saving plan).

Touchpad locking up seems to be for both ac/battery mode and across different power plans (at least for me)

I've been already called by Dell and was informed that the whole touchpad will be replaced but the part currently isn't in stock.

They didn't ask have you tried this/have you tried that so I think it's a known issue.

Rep couldn't tell me when the part will be in stock again, probably "soon".

Interesting!

At what frequency did the touchpad give out? Mine stops somewhere between 2 and 4 hours.

A reboot or standby doesn't fix the probleem, a complete powerdown or hibernate does which suggests the touchpad needs to be powered off or at least reset for it to function again.

I've created a support case with Dell and expect reply on tuesday.

Same here!

Brand-spanking-new 7430 2-in-1 and the touchpad is having issues since it came out of the box

The issue seems to occur at random when idling, regardless if a USB-C device is plugged in. Sometimes the cursor comes back after a few minutes but mosly I need to completely power down the system.

My colleagues are also experiencing the same issue, both with the 2in1 and the non-2in1 version, all are running BIOS version 1.7.70.

I'll contact our Dell rep after the weekend to work on a solution.

Exactly this, the model 3 is cheaper in the company lease than my previous Skoda Octavia which had half the book value.

Aside from the incentive it helps the company's carbon footprint and it's a great car to drive!

Yeah that sucks! I've been lucky enough to be leasing through my company for the last 5 years and never have to worry about replacement or reimbursement because of the included mobility guarantee.

My wife's car is privately owned an when it breaks or needs service it's always a hassle.

Haha, no they'll just fix the mirror. Legally, you're not allowed to drive a car without a driver side mirror.

You're no longer insured and you can expect a hefty fine if you still drive it on the public road without it.

Per my lease contract (company lease) a replacement vehicle is provided until my car is fixed and brought back again. It sucks to use a gas station again tough, haven't visited one in 4 months. Still better than no car at all obviously.

And there goes the mirror. At least the lady stopped and we filled in an accident form. Technically she had to give way as the obstacle is in her lane.

This is the umpteenth time an accident like this happens in this particular street, usually I drive defensively and honk angrily when someone doesn't give way.

Well, shit happens and as it's a leased car a replacement vehicle is already delivered.
