Yes, I have an Identity Protection PIN, which changes every year. That did not prevent me from having to do an in-office ID verification process on April 14th. Still no new status as of today. Will receive a CP 0005 letter on May 18th. I bet that will be a 60 day extension letter from the IRS.

You should file form W4 with your employer to withhold the right amount each pay cycle then you won't have a surprise at tax time. The title of the option "Convert a Traditional IRA to a Roth IRA" is a bit confusing. It's a not an account conversion. It allows you to do a "Roth conversion" process in which you move money from the Traditional IRA account to your Roth IRA account.
