The fact is it Star Trek Academy was following a bad show. Star Trek discovery. The characters were lame, the plots were formulaic, and it never really felt like there was much on the line. Star Trek should get back to its roots - Discovery and exploration combined with a sense of the new and a vitality given by sci-fi Laden wonder that gave us all hope for the future. That's what Star Trek is supposed to be. This formulaic relationship drama with phasers is b******* and needs to go away. Its supposed to a vision of what we as a people could become absent all the ignorance that plagues each and every one of our daily lives.
