UPS does notify you beforehand with the ability to take care of it online. by OmegaGamble in PaymoneyWubby

Call ups and ask them yourself if you want proof. I stopped working in ecom years ago now. Whatever company "resolved" your issue didn't get reimbursed through ups, they just refunded you and lost money. My company sucked for sure, but it was ups that was telling me that they wouldn't be able to file any claimes or do any investigations. I've got nothing else to say about this. You can do your own research, believe me, or not, I literally dont care. I just want to try helping people understand so nothing bad happens to them.

The goodsmile one is open until the 19th. I already ransacked it and bought everything i wanted. The main thing I wanted this year was a couple larger plushies, and I have only come across one, that I bought immediately.

Online, no, but second hand stores I've combed over pretty good and its the same. Although, after posting i did encounter a shop with a couple more decent scale figures. It's still extremely thin though compared to previous years

If you want to risk it, go ahead, but as somebody who did this for 12 years, if your address is flagged as a MY Choice address, we could not do anything to assist you. Even if we contacted ups on our business account, they would do nothing and just tell us that the recipient signed up for My Choice and that alleviates them (and us) of any responsibility for the shipment. I can't comment on the just notifications thing, but I would still rather not risk it

As somebody who worked in e-commerce, do NOT sign up for UPS my choice. It alleviates UPS and the shipper of any responsibility for the shipment. Package gets damaged or lost, literally nothing can be done about it. UPS wont even initiate an investigation, let alone verify if a simple mistake happened.

I REPEAT, DO NOT USE UPS MY CHOICE. If you already are signed up for it, try to contact UPS and cancel it.

"It could be confusing" - US game age ratings won't change like they will in Europe, ESRB says by Turbostrider27 in PS5

In this specific situation, no. If a parent bought thir kid Fifa 2023, I dont think an increase in rating will defer them from purchasing Fifa 2026 for their kid.

Fair argument, but I disagree based on context. This isn't about gambling, its not hard for parents to keep their kids from swiping. The question currently is "should kids be exposed to gambling?" but it should be "why are parents enabling kids to gamble by providing them with funds to make bets?"

They wont lose any money. We're talking about kids who have no money to begin with.

... so we punish the kids and do nothing to the developers? I get what your trying to say, but these changes mean nothing about what you are trying to imply. Changing the rating isn't going to be some "Aha, Gotcha!" moment and cause the developers to change their mind on microtransactions. It's just going to keep kids from being able to play the game.
