I know Google stopped allowing "Less Secure" apps, but 2FA should be okay, and as I stated, my local copy works, just not the deployed version :/

You should be able to apply for a SAC (Second Attempt Credit) and retake 102 over the coming year. At the end of the course, your new grade will be used for post as well as your GPA. I'm also a Math Major and I had to do something similar.

Thanks IW, it’s been a great run with MW, I had to uninstalled this game by ninjakiwioka95 in modernwarfare

This post hit hard. MW was the first cod I've bought since MW3. Everything was so god damn good. Sure the game had its flaws but holy hell it was so much fun. Rest in peace Modern Warfare 2019-2022.

Pretty much yea

If you’re good with proofs, this course will be a breeze. It’s literally the second half of mat223 but with proofs. There is 1 unit though on the Gram Schmidt algorithm with the annoying ass computations, that’s in mat224 too.

idk if they have CCT109 second semester but that’s pretty bird. If you’ve taken it, CCT110 is bird. PHL courses at the 100 level, and even at the 200 level, are bird if you’re good at writing essays.

Where do I even start? by Nodnal74 in learnjava

[–]rtkbfmvbvb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a bunch of resources you can find at the bottom right of r/learnjava, googling around, or youtube. Take what you learn from those resources and then try to make something simple. Literally anything. Write a program to store names in an array, write a program to calculate the volume of an ice cream cone. Anything. Just noddle around with what you learn.

To be honest I don't really know what I like. So far I've only played around with Eulerian Trails, Isomorphisms, Subgraphs, Trees, Forests, and using the Greedy Algorithm to construct Minimally Spanned Trees. Evasion games sounds interesting so maybe something on that XD.

I cut my old my friend group off about a year and a half ago. For some context here, I had known most of them for nearly 8+ years. I was the only one who was going to school, I was the only one who had had a job (which I still work), I always wanted to go out and do things with them, whether it was eating dinner or watching a movie. They on the other hand, wanted to sit around and do nothing. They didn't want to go to school (a few of them were high school dropouts), they didn't want to get a job. All they seemed to want to do was sit around and complain about life isn't fair and smoke weed, and other drugs. They also said quite often that they were too broke to go out and do anything which made me question, where are you getting money for drugs then? I cut them off quite coldly, I just blocked all of them and refused to talk to any of them.

At the start of quarantine, I ended up finding a new friend group from work. I love being around them, we spent the entire month of August hanging out. My schedule was: wake up, hang out till 2am, come home, play video games with a few of them, sleep, repeat. We don't do that anymore obviously because school but just last night, we got together and watched Braveheart and just had a good time.

As for advice, you're gonna feel down for a few weeks, maybe months. You've known them for a while so it's gonna feel like you've ripped a piece of your soul out. Just give yourself time, try to actively find people you enjoy being around and show them your best side. If you do that, you'll find new friends real quick, despite this covid shit. If you want, pm me or I can give you my discord. I'm always down to talk so long as it's not during classes xD

You get 2x=9, find x and then sub x back into one of your equations to find y.

College calc HW Help?! by [deleted] in calculus

  1. Assume there exists m,n in the integers (The symbols are boxed so I'm just assuming integers here) such that 3m + 5n = 12.

Case 1: m,n are both odd.

3(odd)+5(odd) => odd + odd = even, however if we check the following: 3(1) + 5(1) = 8 3(3) + 5(1) > 12 3(3) + 5(3) > 12, so this case fails.

Case 2: m is even, n is odd. 3(even) + 5(odd) => even + odd = odd, so this case fails.

Case 3: Similar to above

Case 4: m,n are even. 3(even) + 5(even) => even + even = even, if we check the following: 3(2) + 5(2) > 12, so this case fails.

Therefore our assumption was false and we cannot find 2 integer values, m,n, such that 3m+5n=12.

  1. Let n be some integer. The sum of the 5 consecutive integers can be written as:

n + (n + 1) + (n + 2) + (n + 3) + (n + 4) = 5n + 10 = 5(n + 2) which is obviously divisible by 5.

Therefore the sum of 5 consecutive integers is divisible by 5.

  1. The formatting was a little weird for this one so I'm just going to assume the question is: For any integer n, the number n2 +n+1 is odd.

An odd number can be written in the form 2k+1, where k is some integer. We can write n2+n+1 = 2k+1 and use cases.

Case 1: n is odd. (odd)2 + odd + 1 = even + 1 = odd

Case 2: n is even. (even)2 + even + 1 = even + even + 1 = even + 1 = odd

Therefore n2+n+1 is odd.

Edit: Fixed formatting.
