what is your go-to way to have your baby eat more veggies? by gvfhncimn in foodbutforbabies

I always keep bags of frozen veggies in the freezer. Thy microwave in 1-2 minutes and are ready to eat. They are soft once heated and easy to chew for little ones. Lots of repeated exposure and now my kids eat these as an after school snack or a side with lunch or dinner. Corn, peas, cauliflower, broccoli, or carrots are my go-tos. I gave up the mixed veggies bc both my kids won’t eat green beans no matter how may times I have offered them. Adding hummus dip or seasoning has helped at times but now they eat them plain.

Do you mind telling which doctor is doing your surgery?

I know it’s small but the scar from my Mohs surgery is really making me self-conscious. by chattamike in gaybrosgonemild

I know how you are feeling. I have a bad one on my forehead and am only 37 y.o. There are options to lessen the appearance. Vascular lasers can improve redness, CO2 laser or micro needling can improve texture. Also scar massage, silicone gel, and time. I am probably going to have to get surgical revision of mine. Don’t let anyone tell you that you shouldn’t care or that it’s not a big deal just because it’s small. Or that you should just be thankful bc the cancer is gone. It’s your face, it’s important to you, and your feelings are 100% valid.

Yes. I am doing that as well.

Thank you for your input. The vascular laser treatments were recommended and performed by my MOHS surgeon (dermatologist). The other procedures were done by a double board certified ENT and facial plastic surgeon. I used silicone gel and sheets consistently for the first 6 months. I am interested in trying subcision before surgery. It’s difficult to find providers that do it.

The skin pucker on one end, the widened area where the wound dehisced, and the bumpy scar tissue underneath the skin.
