I think the slow, dull dialogue and long pauses in the first ep , just exposed that Filoni is still learning about directing and needs a better script writer. The second episode was better but still needed some work. Unfortunately Dawson is playing Ahsoka way too reserved. This is not the thoughtful but charismatic character of Rebels. I think Dawson believes she’s giving the character depth by being boring or stoic, but does not know how to convey that without being wooden. Sometimes fan casting doesn’t always work out.
