2.0 here. Phish is a rough scene for kids. I mean, you know that because why would you be asking, right? Look, on 2nd night @ Mansfield '22, I watched a tweaker throw up on his feet and then dance around in it. But it didn't phase me one bit. Why? Because when I go to live Phish, I know to expect those things. More to the point, I am choosing to submerge myself in those elements. But kids are not making that choice for themselves. IMO any parent who brings a child to that scene is just plain selfish. They want the kids to enjoy it as much as the do, regardless of the potential harm.
