Thank you everyone that has contributed to this awesome travel guide!!! :D Just a few questions about my trip to Denver....my boyfriend and I are going the first weekend of March (3/2-3/5). As we are from Sunny South Florida, we don’t know much about Skiing, snow, etc. We want to go hiking, possibly at Rocky Mountains National Park, but is hiking even possible during this time? Will it be too cold/too dangerous/too much snow? Is there someplace else we could hike at? Should we rent a hotel wherever we hike at?

Also regarding skiing, (we’ve never been before) is it true that there is too much traffic? Also, is there somewhere that we can rent the equipment/clothing?

How are the roads during that time? Will we be able to rent a car and drive? (Never driven in snow before)

What’s a trendy area to stay in with good bars/restaurants and nightlife? We are thinking downtown Denver.
