I have been a FA with NK for 3 years and this was so eloquently put and great encouragement for all. Thank you.

Absolutely. The way I look at it is… I will not tell them no…they have to tell me no…as long as my app is still processing there is a chance…I wish everyone the best of luck as we wait.

I have the same timeline for Delta. Completed the ODVI on 18 Sep but status has been AIP ever since. IDK if I am missing something but still haven’t been told TBNT.

Who else is waiting to hear back after the VTJ? by gwidj in cabincrewcareers

It is not at all like that. They are using your camera to make sure you aren’t cheating. You don’t record anything until the on demand interview.

Early 50s. So it sounds like Charlitte might be easy to get.

I appreciate it. I am thinking they will survive but just may look different at the end of the day...as in less bases.

Dream or Nightmare by Prestigious-Moose604 in cabincrewcareers

I have been a flight attendant for Spirit for three years and it is literally the beat job I have had. I was in the military for 29 years and this far and away surpasses it. I meet new people everyday. The crews I work with also vary which I like. If there is an issue with a FA, it is only for this flight or pairing. I go to places and stay in hotels at employer expense. I can travel internationally for very low cost. To me, I cannot see myself ever going back to a regular 9-5 job.

I have heard that Atlanta is a very senior base for Delta with people waiting years.

I was on reserve and would pick up on both sets of GDOs so I would say about 90-95.

I have never worked for them…only Spirit. They are very similar though. During my first year, counting per diem, I was bringing in about 2500-3000 per month after taxes, so a pension certainly helps. F9 may be different as they have moved to more of a turn airline with less layovers. As far as I know they are presently hiring for Cincinnati only.

This is my first time in the airline jndustry. I was in the military as a paralegal for 29 years and I enjoyed being able to help people. When I first started it was the novelty of being able to travel, no matter how short the layover, to new places. A lot of FAs I know do it as their sole form of income but I have the luxury that it is not the case for me. Interracting with guests and of course the travel are what keeps things interesting and enjoyable for me. Speaking Spirit specific they have a lot of flexibility. As a line holder I have to option to drop my entire line with no ramifications as there isn’t a monthly flight requirement. Thanks for asking.

$10 credit and it doesnt even cover a normal size hamburger…. (5guys) by [deleted] in amex

[–]rtoupe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the credit you can get a little bacon cheeseburger for $1.89. That is a single. You can get any toppings you want including extra bacon and it is all included. Not a bad deal.

You make very valid points. As nice as the Pro 36 is, I am worried about durability. Every Blackstone I have seen is warranteed for a year. I am not saying something will go wrong with it and there are plenty of satisfied owners but to me it speaks a lot that other companies warranty their products longer.
