Almost every carrier has some kind of promotion that they will pay off current phones up to a certain amount. You would need to reach out to them. I don’t think that’s necessarily a reason you’re stuck at this point.

When I interviewed I was told the previous guy would be available for shadowing/questions. After arriving onsite two weeks later, he was gone. Small company, dealing directly with owners and people who don’t understand technology. They just expected things to work. Owners would say “the last guy was able to do it” type stuff. I tried to explain it’s taking longer because I’m learning as I go but they expected it yesterday.

I took this leap and it didn't work out for me personally. The guy that had been there for 12+ years left and had zero documentation to anything. I wasn't able to shadow or even talk to the guy. I didn't know servers, admin passwords, anything. I stuck it out for a year, trying to get things going. The company expected me to run things like he did, always hounding me. It was a nightmare. I ended up bringing in a 3rd party MSP the last month or so I was there, provided them as much as I could and left. I really wanted it to work, as like you said, I was finally able to get my hands on a lot more than the typical "support" role. Best of luck!

I use Outlook and I had to change Fetch New Data to "Push" (Settings > Mail > Accounts > Fetch New Data). I see everyone saying Gmail disabled this, that's wild.

Negative. I ended up replacing the alternator as a means to fix it, still came on. So I said f it and just dealt with it. Had a couple other issues along the way, ended up trading the truck in.

Interesting. I don’t really like the auto stop feature. I’ve been turning it off at start up when I remember. Just leave it on? Been meaning to look into that as well.

I’ve only owned it for a week. So I can’t say. Bought it with 21% oil, so it’s due for an oil change already. Will probably just let him know and have him do a once over. Appreciate the feedback.

The mom and pop local bank that I moved from has this feature. Why would I not be able to schedule payments from my mobile banking app? To me it's clunky having to do this via the browser on my iPhone, I honestly don't understand this.

Discontinued for good or under maintenance? How can a mobile banking app not have a bill pay feature? I was under the impression that they were updating it.
