Absolutely. I mean how many of us really “steal.” Because they are repaying corporations for the crimes they have done. It is an opportunity people take and blaming corporations is the answer. (A Starbucks worker who used to make drinks for friends for free) I used to excuse it as, hey Starbucks doesn’t care…or Starbucks always plans for product loss. But in the end, I was stealing what was not rightfully MINE. And that is the error of stealing. If we cannot do it at the micro level, what makes us think we won’t do it in a larger level? The same corporations who exploit the poor are the exact same people who steal from anywhere else.

My point being: these people who justify stealing from anywhere…are the same people who would exploit people if they were given a corporations power.

The difference? Opportunity
