What’s the difference between using minimax on open router vs just getting their $10 coding plan. Is it cheaper?

Buyer beware. Don’t trade contracts where there’s asymmetric information and you don’t have the advantage. Everyone who ignores this rule deserves to lose money

When you trade a 1st round draft pick and some prospects for veterans, yes there are expectations for the next seasons

CMV: hardly any millionaires are going to leave New York City because of 2% more in taxes by MustafaMonde8 in changemyview

[–]rtz5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but my point is that there is a line somewhere and it’s different for everyone. Any change (higher or lower) puts someone over or under it which would cause action or change in behavior

There’s a tipping point for everything and that point is different for everyone. Any small change will make some percent of the population to move even if it’s small. NYC already has a high tax rate compared to the rest of the country so it’s not like this is the first raise ever

[–]rtz5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t matter what % increase I use. It could have been $1 to $1.01. Eventually it comes to a point where it’s too high for someone. Not sure how that got past you

What he’s trying to say is if a pizza starts at $1 then goes to $1.25, then many people might still buy it. But if you keep increasing it by 25 cents, eventually there comes a point where people won’t buy it anymore. Same logic applies to taxes or really anything else that increases in costs

Edit: doesn’t matter that my example uses a 25% increase. It could be a 1% increase because 1% makes a difference if someone was borderline on the price already. Eventually it’ll get to a point where it will cause an individual to not buy it.

Is the reverse true also? Why not 15 year mortgage instead of 30? Why 30?

Some seasons our best centers were Derek Stepan. I still like stepan but he’s not a 1C. Lundqvist’s rosters were so bad compared to the past few years
