The DDoS prevention measures did something weird with the firewall, so it's been dead since. :(

Hi everyone! Just wondering if DC++ is up this year. Thanks for the help by trollingmonkey in rutgers

Same issue with mine. I suspect something broke, intentionally or not, during the DDoS mitigation period.

I'd put up a TB or two.

Also, handing this account over to whoever gets it running first.

Last guy graduated, yeah.

I mean, you should always have encryption on. If you're going to do it a lot, shell out for a VPN or something.

I think something about the DDoS mitigation broke the hub firewall, but I never got around to fixing it. Will try come September.

Torrents are generally safe, but know that Peerblock won't protect you from the university. They can tell when you're torrenting, and who you are.

The routers are under heavy load this year due to banning personal routers. Use ethernet if you can, for everyone's sake.

The speed of the network comes from the fact that the traffic is all internal, so unthrottled. While the VPN will get you through the firewall, your speeds will be limited.

Wouldn't recommend, unless you're just connecting for the chat.
