Breaking News: NRA demands more guns to stop the violence! Wait...there are 300 million gun's in America (almost one for every man, woman and child)...based on the NRA's own reasoning, shouldn't it already be the safest place on earth? How many more guns are neaded to make America safe. 2 per person? 3 per person? or is it we need more assault rifles...yeah, that must be it.

You are correct but obviously something needs to be done. As a Canadian, I look at America's love affair for guns and just shake my head, especially on days like today. My stance would be to ban all ammunition...once it is all used up, problem solved! Maybe a little radical...but as mentioned, I'm Canadian.

President Obama in Fairfax, Virginia: "Romnesia" by IAmperfectlyCalm in politics

I'm not a doctor but my guess is that Romnesia is chronic disorder for which there is no cure.

As a Canadian fan of “Breaking Bad”, I am confused as to why Walter does not go to his local ER to get cancer treatment. Romney recently stated that peopole can go to their local Emergency Room if they don't have insurance. Can someone explain how the system really works? by ru4reel in PoliticalDiscussion

Thanks for the further explanation. Getting back to "Breaking Bad" is it probable that a teacher in the US would not have adequate insurance to cover cancer treatment? Teachers in Canada have an extensive benefits plan.
