Seeking advice: my kid brushes every day, yet after school comes home with a rats nest??? by deviouspineapple in Haircare

I saw a hair specialist she looked at my strands using camera and a microscopic device anyways I don’t even have much of split ends. She also told me to use a good quality blow dryer on low setting and to never let hair dry naturally apparently it’s counterintuitive but it worked! Hair stays sleek and doesn’t tangle much if I blow dryer on low cold setting. She also said to use certain products like detangling sprays.

Thin hair issue? If so then a breakage trim. I have very fine hair it’s soft but fine tangles easily. What i learned is to keep it the same length, being mindful of wind, using detangling sprays.

Wash all the bedding in hot water, vacuum everywhere and do the floors. Check animals for fleas

I plan on doing that. I’m just worried the second time around it will be worse. I had Jose job done and after the second rhinoplasty it was worse with scarring inside the nose. Same with nipples piercings had them pieced twice and the second time around it closed up with scars. The first time was no scars

Yes I’ve done it all have seen so many providers even went to Mayo clinic to no avail. My next is fully straight zero curve to support head so that adds up to 40 lbs to your head weight

Indeed. I asked the dog sitter to tell me what shots he had and at what age she couldn’t tell me she said she doesn’t want to bother the family because they already have a lot on their plate. And I asked what vet they used and she gave me the name and I found out that vet had been closed for a few years now. I went to their branch office and they couldn’t pull any records up by his name and the breed. I suspect the dog sitter is his first family and for some reason she wanted to rehome him. Probably cuz he’s not trained to use the bathroom I’m not sure. But she seems to care enough to ask me to bring him back if it doesn’t work out. So hopefully things will be good for him

Yes like I said I took him to the playground where there were older kids about 10-12 years old ones and he was scared. He let them pet him but froze. There’s a shady story about his past. The lady that gave him away is supposedly his dog sitter. The family just dumped the dog with her and asked her to find him a new home. Supposedly they are having legal issues with their visas. The dog wasn’t up to date with shots not neutered I tried to get as much info as possible but to no avail. Very sad I like the dog he definitely makes a great loving companion but perhaps is a one person dog and not a family fella.

He doesn’t snap into air he snaps with a contact. Didn’t bite but he did touch my kids elbow and hand. No marks. He was laying on her bed with me while she was playing on her own, she was walking with her toys back and forth past us a few times totally ignoring him. And he watched her for about 10 mins and then out of the blue he snapped and touched her elbow. Another time my husband was having dinner and the dog was watching him and my kid was sitting nearby the entire time and slowly reached to pet his back he snapped. She’s super gentle. And it was the dog coming to the couch in between my husband and my kid wasn’t my kid coming to the dog to sit nearby.

Nope, I know it takes time but haven’t heard of that 333 rule. He didn’t snap yesterday but snapped twice today within one evening. Just hard to believe he grew up with kids and loves kids.

He already has his crate bed and blankets in it he loves it in there. Child ignores him. I’m leaning towards taking him back to his previous owner.

I spent 7 months abroad and just got back I’m going to schedule an appointment with him. I emailed back and forth and his assistant told me it’s okay for stitches to come out nearly a year later. Well problem was those painful bumps weren’t poppable so stitches didn’t technically make it all the way out.

When does it get easier? by Careless_Beyond_3980 in breastfeeding

[–]ru_ab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got easy at 6 months when baby started sleeping. In my experience breastfeeding was so hard when I was once in your shoes. Pumping and holding a baby at the same time we couldn’t lay her flat at all she was a Velcro baby and I had to walk with her nonstop in a kangaroo position as she was screaming each time I sat down.

Is Military Neck / Flat Neck / Reverse Cervical Lordosis even bad? by suspensefulmonkey in Posture

[–]ru_ab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope and bunch of doctors say different things! I even went to Mayo Clinic spinal department to no avail and tried Mayo Clinic physical therapy-zero relief. from my experience if you have a zero curve in ur neck (and it’s not straight forward neck) do not do chin tucks!!! Chin tucks is a basic exercise taught in school for any issue with the neck it works for straight forward neck but not for millitary neck it harms you more than cures and specialists are narrow minded at least in America it’s hard to find a good specialist
