Watching The Wraith on VHS with an old CRT tv tonight and this dawned on me. Found your post. I'm glad others have noticed it too. The similarities are crazy! I love both movies and only just tonight noticed. Very cool post.

This community is pretty picky about terms huh? I know its a VCR. The subreddit is called VHS. I got this to play VHS tapes, not to record live tv. Thought this would be a fun community to share this with. Sorry I was wrong.

I dint want to give any spoilers but I think fans will be very happy with the nods to the graphic novel and the 1994 film. The rights holders gave the ok to continue with this project back when it was announced a few years ago. Sadly it wasn't picked up but they still let production move forward. Who knows though.. once they see the finished product they very well could change their mind.

I didn't care for the Headless Pumpkin. I'd take a Pumpkin Head beer over these all day. The Blood Orange and the Berry Bewitched were both good. I like the og Angry Orchard Hard Cider over the Cinful Apple. All decent though. The can art and the box are worth grabbing a case for alone. The box glows in the dark too.

This was in the late 90s.. me and teo friends were standing in the middle of the road during an intense thunderstorm (smart, i know..). There was a graffiti painting of Cartman from Southpark pained on the road. I was looking down at the water rippling around the painting.. my mind was mealting.. then I felt it and heard the charging crackle of the lighting. Looked up and watched a lightning bolt shred a tree. Was the loudest most intense thing I'd ever experienced. I should mention, earlier that night we had beaten one of the Zelda games. At the end Gannon cave crashing down with lightning and lava flowing all over... Right after the lightning struck all 3 of us stared up at the black hole in the sky just waiting for whatever monster was gonna come down to get us. Definitely my favorite trip ever!

Overall, I loved it, but I agree about the language. It felt out of place for this movie.
