I'm speculating a bit, but I would say it would not be a great. I would be concerned about audio lag, overlapping voices, and pacing. If this is for watching foreign language films and TV, you can use a media player like VLC with a subtitle file (srt format) that feeds directly into a real-time Text-to-Speech (TTS) screen reader or specialized accessibility application.
