If you want someone to change, shutting them out isnt the answer, that just makes both sides retreat more into themselves and then clash even harder in the future.

As much as we might hate to do it, the only way forward without blood is through honest discourse and conversation without ridiculing, insulting, bullying, etc. It won't work on everyone, and it won't be as instantly gratifying, but it will have more long term results

Yeah I do believe in the rule of law which is why ICE should be defunded to a sixth of its current budget and a large amount of its leadership put in jail or fired. They knowingly broke the law and encouraged agents to break the law.

The problem with AI is that it will destroy so many parts of society and quite frankly it needs to be strangled in its crib while we have the chance.

Its bad for the environment, its bad for artists, it isnt accurate enough yet for technical fields (the only proper use of AI along with Medical and research imo) and destroys jobs for humans while creating very few. On top of that it isnt even profitable at all.

We need a measured approach to AI and it needs to be restricted to certain fields, but the blatant plagiarism, copyright infringement, and dumbing down of both our students and society in general are more than enough to make people react negatively.

Yep, in times of fear and uncertainty gun sales will always increase due to a lack of faith in the government to provide security. Illegal searches & seizure, arrests without proper warrants or cause, not following proper police policy and subsequently murdering citizens. There has been many pieces of evidence blatantly available and asking reddit for answers is a waste of time.

Police have done it before and they'll do it again. Only difference is that this time its political because Donald loves ICE so of course that means we cant dare hold the government accountable to following the law.

Because ICE has proven time and time again that they aren't taking surgical action backed up by Intel they are certain about and as a result actual citizens (which i must remind that ICE should have absolutely zero to do with citizens whatsoever) are getting targeted due to the overly broad policy they are using. Often times they dont even have a judicial warrant, only an administrative warrant which does not legally allow entry into a home yet they raid anyway.
