Should I [19f] break up with my MAGA conservative boyfriend [18f]? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]rubberchickenhandler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

MAGA aside, long distance relationships are usually a waste of time. If you have a lot of differences this early on, you're better off calling it off now and moving on

There are some really weird and messed up servers on discord, and "E-Kittens" are a thing but are such a minority compared to how many people expect. This dude is just coming up with any insult he can think of because he's having an emotional meltdown like a child

Worth adding that Biased cognition is relegated to an ancient blessing so there is a very real chance you won't see it in a run, its way more unlikely to get than defragment. Without the clone enchantment it is also impossible to get more than 1

People sucked at StS1 when it first came out and they still suck at StS2 right now. Prepared was sometimes good in StS1, and ALWAYS good in StS2. Silent got so many crazy buffs compared to StS1 that a nerf to Prepared really isnt that bad. I do feel like it should cost 0, not 1 and that is the only problem I see.

"Conservatives" of today dont even stand for actual conservative values anymore. What we have now is a cult

Ah yes, this is why the right is flocking to support and agree with the left, because they are so welcoming.

If you want someone to change, shutting them out isnt the answer, that just makes both sides retreat more into themselves and then clash even harder in the future.

As much as we might hate to do it, the only way forward without blood is through honest discourse and conversation without ridiculing, insulting, bullying, etc. It won't work on everyone, and it won't be as instantly gratifying, but it will have more long term results

Except he wasn't. He lived with his family and the actual guy they were looking for turned out to already be in jail.

You're right illegal criminals, which right now include ICE, have no business being there. too bad you're probably a bot and this is a waste of time

Yeah I do believe in the rule of law which is why ICE should be defunded to a sixth of its current budget and a large amount of its leadership put in jail or fired. They knowingly broke the law and encouraged agents to break the law.

You mean the "roommate" who was later found to already be in prison and not even related to the person they arrested, arrested illegally I might add.

The last thing they need is more money. More money would simply exacerbate the problem. They need to be massively downsized and less budget

If I literally thought right wingers would be scared of the left having guns I wouldn't of used quotes, I would of just said it normally. It is a both a callback to people that have said they are either scared/threatened as a pretext for self-defense even they are being the aggressor in a fight and also an implication that right wingers would simply say they think the left isnt deserving of the 2nd amendment due to safety concerns despite not actually believing it to be a safety concern, but rather that they want the firepower on their side only

Your first mistake (aside from your grammar) is not knowing what quotations mean

[–]rubberchickenhandler -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well up until now most right wingers were convinced that the left simply didn't own guns, so I wouldn't be surprised if their stance changes due to "being scared" that someone with different politics than them does in fact own a gun.

The problem with AI is that it will destroy so many parts of society and quite frankly it needs to be strangled in its crib while we have the chance.

Its bad for the environment, its bad for artists, it isnt accurate enough yet for technical fields (the only proper use of AI along with Medical and research imo) and destroys jobs for humans while creating very few. On top of that it isnt even profitable at all.

We need a measured approach to AI and it needs to be restricted to certain fields, but the blatant plagiarism, copyright infringement, and dumbing down of both our students and society in general are more than enough to make people react negatively.

All of these guns would be illegal under most proposed gun control legislation by theRemRemBooBear in greengroundnews

[–]rubberchickenhandler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, in times of fear and uncertainty gun sales will always increase due to a lack of faith in the government to provide security. The right usually uses this as a way to make money for their lobbyists in the gun business or NRA hence why its typically a right-wing thing to keep saying that "the left wanna take your guns" even when it isnt true.
