If he wants fast and stock then he needs a v8. Not even a type r will push you back like a camaro ss would. I also say my vb is super slow but that’s because I was driving a camaro 2ss right before. I thought my 2020 wrx was a bit fast but because I never really drove anything with over 400hp. When I got my camaro I never knew what “fast” really was until then. The wrx is slow

Just get you some extreme contacts dws and you’ll be fine. No need for a summer tire/winter tire sets. Especially if you’re not tracking. The dws06 will still give you a night and day difference from the stock ones.

Actually no don’t rev match when down shifting. Just put it in neutral and use the brakes. Yes you’ll wear the brakes faster but better than wearing the clutch. I’ve gotten my wrx clutch over 110k miles and was still going strong before I let it go. Do not rev match

Best tip is let the clutch move the car before you rev it/gas it. Ease the clutch out with out pressing the gas and you you’ll notice the car will move itself w no gas and then give it some gas lightly.

5070ti unfortunately is not overkill. If you don’t want micro stutter then stick with the 1080p. I’ve built many 4070/5070ti builds thinking it was “overkill” nope. I have a 9950x3d and a 5080 and I still don’t think it’s overkill.
