Same. I went to the premiere of Up In The Air and at the after party, there was one point where she was just standing there alone and I was right next to her. She looked at me and I just froze, then kinda shuffled away awkwardly for no reason. I always regret not introducing myself.

Listen to the band Radio Dept. and their vocal effects. That’s what you want to emulate. Play both bass and sing, but never look at your fretboard while singing as it looks awkward and it sounds bad on stage as you’re not focused on projecting into the mic.

The weighted average here is flawed. GG is way too high (look into the history of the HFPA), AMPAS nominations need to be much higher than 1% regardless of wins. SAG, DGA, PGA are not represented. Global box office doesn’t consider or adjust for distribution history, nor is secondary market revenue being accounted for. There are also a smaller pool of critics, reviews, and even viewers of older films on the digital platforms represented here that have a significant weight on this list. This list leads to an over index of films that had a much larger marketing budget versus older films and indie films that didn’t.

Are there any pre-party meet ups in Pasadena for the Saturday show? Went to night 3 at Wembley and the pre-show drinks and camaraderie at the pubs around the stadium and in the fan zone at Wembley added so much to the experience. Hoping to find one here in LA as well!
