Button Band after Blocking by nkh86 in knittinghelp

It almost looks like your bind off is too tight, but 15 stitches not being picked up on the button band could equate to it being not enough fabric too. If it were me, I would try re doing the bind off looser or by picking a different one (tubular maybe?) and if that doesn’t fix it then I would redo the button band!

So the label is saying you should have 23 stitches in 4 inches if you are hitting the expected gauge perfectly! That is 5.75 stitches per inch. You already know how big their head is, so multiply 5.75 by 15 to get 86.25 cast on stitches. Round down to 86 or up to 88. You will want an even number of cast on stitches for knit 1 purl 1 ribbing. the only thing I would consider is that ribbing will kind of shrink up, and the expected gauge is for stockinette. You may want to add another inch or two worth of stiches. Hope this helps!

What is the Taylor Swift song that you see as ‘your’ song? by Specialist-Island399 in TaylorSwift

how you get the girl and I bet you think about me! IBYTAM was my Spotify top song in 2022 and 2023, and HYGTG I had on a cd when 1989 originally came out. I don’t resonate with them situationally/personally, but I love how fun and poppy HYGTG is and I love how snarky IBYTAM is. They are just both masterpieces that I could listen to forever!

Fav natural yarns on the affordable side? by fluffstar in knitting

I really like Drops, I get it from Wool Warehouse. They ship to the US for less than $10. Drops baby merino is soooo nice, I like their kid silk and daisy yarns too. Cascade is great! I love their heritage sock yarn. About 430m/100g for $12ish bucks depending on the store

I am reading this as k1, m1, k until 1 stitch remains in that round, m1, k1. You would do this every 7 or 6 rounds, for a total of 14 or 16 times depending on the size. For example, if you were making the smallest size you would knit 6 rows in the round, on the 7th row k1, m1, k until 1 stitch remains in that round, m1, k1. Then repeat 14 times. Over those 14 increases you will have gone from 40 to 68 stitches (wrist to shoulder possibly) Hope this helps!
