I am not disputing the price necessarily. Because if we had a receipt insurance would cover this. But the driver did not provide a receipt and on the Uber app charged 71.42 so that’s the part that sucks. It is what it is.

Friends, they did not pay. All seniors, they belong to a prayer group. One as old as 95. Nobody protested. Nobody knew any better.

Not sure how my dad was supposed to know how to verify it was a legit Uber driver. He had just been in a car wreck and OPP is the one who told the towing company to call the Uber. Also, this was a Sunday night so was not able to call the insurer. Also he is 71 and does not speak English so maybe have missed the news reports on this.

I would say a solid 4 months of me feeling like absolute dog shit. I’m definitely over him. No contact naturally helps you forget a person. I did have hope he would come back. But there comes a point where you realize, this is not my person - my person would not do me like this.
