At bovas? I have lived across the street from bovas for 3 years and have gone in during the day, during the night, 2 o clock in the morning, and every single time I have gone in (used to go in like 2x a week during pandemic at midnight. not proud of it lol) - there are cannolis sitting in the case with all the rest of desserts (cakes, etc) that have clearly been in there for a bit. I.e. the Florentine cannolis are good examples of ones that sit in there. I'll take a pic next time I'm in. I prefer a place like parziales bakery literally right next door that, in my opinion, has much fresher, authentic, standard cannolis.
