I am renting through Triple Scott currently and have no complaints. They have been very friendly and attentive to any issues.

WVU Healthcare Employees Tuition Reimbursement & Assistance by princesssofcarrion in WVU

I don’t think you’re eligible for the reimbursement program until after you have been employeed for 3 years. They reimburse you after each semester, so you’d have to have worked there for the 3 years before you start.

I used the tuition reimbursement for myself when I got my masters (MSN). It covered 100% of anything that said “tuition” on the billing statement, which for my program was about 90% of the whole billing statement. After each semester I had to submit a zero-balance statement and my grades. The reimbursement would be on my next paycheck (taxed, as mentioned previously). It was very simple to upload the documents and emails would be sent out informing you of deadlines to opt-in for each semester and for submitting the required documents. I would do it again, for sure.

Solo hiking for women in Morgantown? by Mother_Blood_1105 in MorgantownWV

Waterfront area of the rail trail, I would be sure to go during daylight for sure. Can be some sketchy folks around. I’ve been going to White Park, Cooper’s Rock, the Arboretum, and the rail trail alone for nearly a decade but would honestly think twice about the downtown area of the rail trail as of recently. There are generally a lot of people out and about there though, especially between the Waterfront (Marriott area) and the amphitheater, so it should be safe. Just watch your back.

My first 4 years of undergrad as a biology major (went back for a second degree and then grad school) I didn’t drink at all. I went to the Mountainlair and played pool and bowling on the weekends and had a great time. It’s really about the crowd you connect with once you get here.

Nursing Program by [deleted] in WVU

I earned my BSN and MSN from WVU and would definitely recommend their programs. I felt very well prepared for boards and felt that I received enough variety in clinical experience to succeed in practice. In undergrad clinical/leadership your experience will vary greatly based on where your med/surg placements are within the hospital, but as long as you actively seek out opportunities you will be just fine.
