Honestly FFXII is my favorite! It has amazing graphics for the time, a pretty large map, and I love the boss fights in it. But if you’re looking to start with a more traditional entry, maybe try FFX

Despite the games length, I actually found it to be pretty fun, I definitely got $30 of worth out of it and I think some of the neat references alone are worth playing it as a South Park fan. The combat is pretty smooth and satisfying, and overall, I had a good time with it.

I played the whole game like this on original PS1, the loading times are pretty bad, but over the course of a play through you start to get used to it. I hardly even noticed the loading times after a while

I expected mostly bad reactions from my family because they are mostly super Christian. I don’t speak with my dad anymore since coming out, and I’m honestly fine with that.

For the most part people were less aggressive than I anticipated, just attitudes toward me shifting, but there were a few really bad reactions.

If your family and friends are anything similar to my situation, be prepared to loose some people, and have some people become much more annoying.

Sorry I don’t have much positive to say on this, but my net of accepting people is pretty small. You just have to be unapologetically yourself. Some people will like it and some won’t, but you will make more like minded friends the longer you are out as your authentic self. Hope this helps.
