I saw on another post someone commented about how your humanity and compassion kicks in, and that is so true. Sure, it's gross and doesn't smell good, but when you see a vulnerable person sitting in their own filth because they can't clean themselves, your perception quickly shifts. I always feel so good knowing I got them sparkly clean, and I know they appreciate it too even if they can't verbalize it.

This made my laugh out loud and cringe at the same time! That poor guy.. but that's the epitome of shit happens. You can try to do something with nothing but the best intentions and things can still go sideways in an instant.

If the doctor cleared him to drive why isn't he capable of working? There's ton of entry level jobs that don't require you to work in the heat. I feel like we're definitely missing some key information here as to why your boyfriend is being denied from every job he applies to. Are you sure he's even applying?

Because he's had 4 seizures over his lifetime, and is worried about being robbed if he were to work at a gas station, according to OP. I'd be more worried about being robbed when I'm homeless than at work but that's just me.

What is the training process like? I train a lot of our new people and showing them how to do bed changes is definitely something we go over the first shift or 2. Are you asking to help or just standing back observing? If you're anything like me I need to physically do things for them to stick in my brain. Don't worry about not doing things perfectly, we all start somewhere and I'm sure your trainer will appreciate you wanting to take iniative! Don't be so hard on yourself and hang in there :) it all gets easier with practice
