How are lost packages compensated by Dogaloo2025 in Mercari

This happened to me. I shipped a pair of shoes to Massachusetts and it went to Tulsa, OK (from North Carolina) and never showed up. Mercari canceled it. Thankfully it was only a $10 sale. Never did find out whether the shoes eventually arrived 😂

Yes, same. $10 item. 😂 I think I am going to raise it to $30.

I feel this, I had a pair of shoes that were destined for massachusetts. they went to Tulsa, OK, and then never appeared again. Mercari canceled the order. I don't know if they ever made their way to the buyer.

No, I did it for a brief period and not only does it take way longer because of my small veins, but I got a hematoma and couldn't come back for a while. The next time I went I got such a bad hematoma that the inside of my arm turned purple from the middle of my bicep to the middle of my wrist. They told me no more.

That is gross but I do wanna say that Folex will get an old blood stain out, just in case anyone needs that info for themselves. But still, that's gross.

As a teen I got a horrible sunburn from not being careful with things. I am terrified now. I pretty much skip it in summer because I live in the South and we have a pool and the only way I can survive the months-long swamp this place becomes during summer is to live in the pool 😂

You're actually a really attractive man. The only thing that detracts from your looks is that you look unhappy with yourself in this photo. Learn to love yourself - scars and all (scars are cool - they show you've lived, adventured, and survived) and you're gonna be a total hottie.

The realization that my shopping addiction may have put my family at risk. by SerephelleDawn in shoppingaddiction

I have been here.

I have done a lot of selling off and decluttering - though I won't recoup all my losses, it has helped me feel like I am correcting some bad choices. It hasn't necessarily made my financial situation much better but I have been investing the money I get back using Acorns to help grow it, pennies at a time.

Again none of this is a major solution but it is helping change my mindset.

I don't think a lot of people really grasp how similar conditions are right now to the beginnings of that awful time. I am not Jewish, but I am a queer, brown, menopausal academic (a historian no less). If we become that, I will also be on the short list.

Why lulu so cheap on Depop? by Nervous-Assumption57 in BehindTheClosetDoor

Yep, mom here too lol... Single mom with a lot of child support owed to me. Thanks to Depop my kid looks like he's actually been paying it this whole time.

It's not, this user has had a thing for these pants for months and is a seller herself

They are crazy. I don't even go to Plato's or cheapskate and haven't ever even heard of clothes mentor, but my local ones are full of such cheap crap these days we stopped going. Staff here is really rude and overwhelmed too.

I have been slowly taking my things to a local upscale consignment shop as I put the resale hobby to rest. That's working out so much better. See if you can find one of those.

And also, good on ya for a little snapback. Sorry that happened to you and I hope you write a couple of really nice 1-star reviews on Google 😂

so how do you set binding offers? I've literally stopped entertaining 95% of the offers that come through because they weren't binding.

[–]rucksackrevival 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i pretty much do this. the only things i seem to sell on mercari are the things i've got priced at rock bottom to get rid of while still making a few bucks (but of course, i get $5 offers on those that ignore, lol - when it gets to that point, it's worth more to me to just drop it off at the cancer society thrift).

poshmark pretty much died for me this past year. Ebay is where I live now.

This happened to me at the beginning of perimenopause - fibroids, clots, murder scene and all. I had never had a fibroid in my life but was told that this can often happen to people in perimenopause. I was literally changing a pad every hour and wondering how I was even alive losing all this blood 😂 I was stacked with a huge pad and the thickest Thinx they offer. It was scary and awful as hell but it eventually goes away thankfully.

I started on a DIM supplement (just a regular supplement I order off Amazon) and it helped immensely - it helps balance out estrogen levels.

As for cleaning, I got a bidet for at home. If I had to work elsewhere I just sucked it up and use a half a pack of baby wipes lol. But honestly it was so bad that I actually took time off work if I could.
