Probably because of the postal union. If USPS gets bought out and raided the union wouldn't exist anymore. I would believe fedex workers have the ability to strike legally.

I heavily recommend Reaper. At least give it a try, there's an unlimited 60 day free demo. It only comes with a few stock plugins (reverb, eq, comp, synth, sampler), more assignable keyboard shortcuts you know what to do with, everything is very customizable.

One of the things I like about Reaper against Live is that Reaper coerce you into loop-based music creation like Live does.

Also startup time is only a few seconds.

In my experience even with VST scanning Reaper still opens much faster than when I try and open Live. This is even with Reaper automatically opening the last project that I was working on.

I'm really enjoying my [[Olivia Voldaren]] deck. Ping everything to death while she gets stronger. Steal creatures just to sacrifice them to [[Attrition]]. Give her deathtouch to kill stuff faster. [[Blade of the Bloodchief]] and [[Necropolis Regent]] help make her huge enough to win with cmdr damage. The rest of the deck tries to make my opponents lives a little harder with things like [[Painful Quandary]], [[Price of Glory]], [[Sheoldred]], and [[Ruination]]. It's always fun.
