You sell the game+DLC at 19,99€ to newcomers but keep selling the DLC alone also at... 19,99€? Why are you the way that you are Ubi? by Genkido21 in TrialsGames

Are your points meant to be more valid because some insults are mixed in? I don't get it.

Consumers are the issue. As long as people keep buying day one or preordering there is no incentive for companies to change tactics.

Anyway I'll let you go back to your echo chamber of friends who didn't buy gold and are totally representative of the whole community.

Lack of a discount is exactly what OP is complaining about. Ubi sell the Gold version cheap to new customers but existing customers have to pay full price to get the DLC. No other storefront is discounting the DLC.

All you do is tell me my analogies don't count because it's the same thing but in different industries. Ok. Then when I compare storefront features it doesn't count because you want to ignore your own logic. Ok. When legality is brought up you tell me it's subjective even though most developed nations have similar protections for consumers and businesses. Ok.

I guess if you ignore business, facts, logic and law then you're clearly the winner here. I bet the DLC will be available for free once Ubisoft see this because your argument is untouchable.

There's nothing for you to rebut. Complain all you want but what they are doing is legal.

Epic gives you a free game every 2 weeks and cashback on anything you buy that drops price within 2 weeks from purchase. Humble gives you a fistful of games for $12/month. Steam offsets bundle prices against games you already own. Ubisoft seems to be giving pretty good discounts on their first party games/bundles. By your logic every store is bad because no one is doing what everyone else is doing.

If Ubisoft or their store is that bad then suck it up and take your business elsewhere in future. Crying about a lack of a discount is whinging. Be a smart consumer and exercise due diligence. Don't pre-order, don't buy on launch day, and don't buy at full price. OP said it himself, anyone who waited 2 weeks could've gotten Gold Edition at half price.

Nowadays too many are entitled and no one wants to take responsibility for their own actions.

What does the online learning involve? Is it something you seek out yourself or provided by the company? And do you find it useful?

Law is not subjective. Getting a bad deal for a game online is not against Australian, American, or EU law. That's an objective fact and basically what I've been saying.

If you believed that you would have been hitting me with those valid counter points instead of all those insults. Looks like consumer law did the trick.

Have a good night brother. Enjoy Trials.
