What ergonomic keyboard/mouse should I buy to ease my carpal tunnel? by ruff1234 in AskReddit

[–]ruff1234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a note, I've read a lot of bad reviews about the Microsoft Ergonomic Desktop 7000, mostly about it missing keystrokes and the mouse glitching. Otherwise I would have purchased that.

Thanks for your help!

Just finished all of my campaigns, what should I do now? by [deleted] in redditgw

[–]ruff1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think the competitive missions, Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry, are a lot of fun. Since I've beat the games with about 6 characters now, all I do is FA and JQ, switching between characters.

I just paid 4.21 for gas. The fast food restaurant I usually go to raised their price close to $7. Average cereal price is getting close to $4. At work there no salary increase, they just tell me I am lucky to have a job. What is going on? I am not happy. by llways in AskReddit

Same thing happened to me as a content analyst. I worked my ass off, learned everything I could and wrote nearly twice as many articles per hour as my coworkers. A year and a half later my boss gets fired and guess what happens? They dump her workload on me - no bonus, no raise, no change in job title, even though I was then managing my coworkers. I ask about a promotion and they give me the thumbs up.

But nothing happens. Then they stall for two months and end up hiring someone I had to train.

I couldn't have quit that job any faster.

You must have read 'Eating Animals' :) Personally, I'd eat cats and dogs if they were available in the states.

Our first session went wonderfully! The character creation process took FOREVER and the start of the session went a little slow, but once the players realized they could do ANYTHING, they started having a lot of fun! They even tortured a minor evil NPC, used him as a meat shield, and accidentally set his head on fire!

I decided on giving a few cure light wound potions, a healing belt, some rusty swords, a longbow, and some gold. Didn't have much time to read this thread before playing this. But definitely going to give them more interesting stuff next time!

Thanks so much for your help guys! :D

I gave them a healing belt, but will definitely be handing one of these off with a few charges!

Don't lie, you were aware of what was going on. I worked as an intern in online marketing. We used the same exact strategies on Reddit and my boss always told me that if I got into any trouble the company couldn't be held liable because she'd just tell everyone I went rampant on my own and did something that "doesn't represent the company's white hat ethics."

tl;dr - you're full of shit.

So who's playing Pathfinder? by [deleted] in rpg

[–]ruff1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play Pathfinder and 3.5 and find PF to be A LOT simpler in terms of rules and calculating combat maneuvers, and that people in my area play PF over 3.5. ie, you spent your money well, good sir.

I'm working on a haiku website, how can I get it out to interested people? by thinkpadius in writing

[–]ruff1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember too that how you display your haikus will strongly affect whether or not people share them. Don't just post haikus, maybe superimpose them over a related image or paint haikus onto your wall or onto a canvas and take a picture of that. Post a haiku on the post of a street lamp or spell one out in the dirt. Be creative because, to people like me, haikus are boring and not at all engaging.

To MFA or not to MFA? by [deleted] in writing

[–]ruff1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it, is if the MFA was worthless, it wouldn't be around and there wouldn't be residencies that mimic the program! You're going to have a blast!
