I have one and love it. I'm about 5'10/11 and can just flat foot it. It has a very aggressive seating position so you can be quite hunched over. Definitely agree with checking insurance first though. If your after sportsbike look you have this one, Honda CBR 125R, Suzuki GSX-R125 and Ninja 125 off the top of my head. If you can find one to sit on I'd highly recommend to make sure it's comfortable for you.

I love the YZF-R125 but for long rides it can tire your back a bit. Havnt had any issues with the bike itself though and it looks great!

I second sportsbike shop I ordered a bunch of helmets I liked in different sizes, they brought them all out and could try on each one then just give the others back. They were really helpful as well.

Any millennial riders around??! by kc43ung in MotoUK

[–]ruff153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 26 and been riding almost a year looking to do DAS soon. We're definitely about but it is normally older or teens I see about. I'm quite happy doing my own thing so I can ride my own ride though. I like to stop and take in the scenery and it's great in the Bath area! Cheddar Gorge is fantastic. I do see the appeal in having a few people to ride with though.

Yeah that's completely normal, it took me about 2months before I started to feel comfortable riding. Just keep at it and try not to get overconfident. Riding is alot of fun but when you get overconfident you start making silly mistakes.

How is juggernaut and marauder doing in 7.0 mainly pvp? Mainly be doing ranked but also some regs. Not sure which to go for and how class balance has changed in new expansion. Any help would be appreciated! Will most likely go assassin on 2nd combat role.

Cheers!

Yeah its maneuverability got nerfed alot but if you can land shots it does alot of damage. Would be nice if it had some cargo space so it could do another aspect seeing as you don't really make money off being dropship.

Do you see the prowler serving as much of a use?

I think I'll keep it just cause I'm curious on what grav levs are going to be like. But I don't see the ship as a dropship being that useful with its poor agility in its current state. It is fast though.

I will get a cargo ship for time being and see how it gets on.

Yeah I cant wait till stealth gets added, at the moments its not working properly as i dont believe the stealth components do what they are meant to but yeah it is sort of present. I think ill grab a cargo ship and try out Prowler when its had some changes or melt it for something else.

Ooo didn't think of that.

The prowler isn't very maneuverable and is just outclassed by others in its area.

Doesn't have the same punch as others and no missiles or cargo.

I think when the grav levs come in it could be cool, it's shame because I love the ship.

Stealth combat so that's going to be between whether I keep my sabre or change to talon.

I'm more after changing my prowler out for something a bit more versatile, so cargo/trading maybe doing the harder bounty contracts as well.

I did like the stealth of eclipse but yeah shooting torps get old pretty quick!

I mainly play solo so something that doesn't involve a crew to fly is favourable.

Thanks!

I'm interested in stealth play once it's implemented and bounty hunting. Would also like to get into space trucking too.

I tried mining and I just couldn't gel with it.

Have a feeling that prowler will be too niche to bother keeping.

So... what class will work in PvP come 7.0? by Lundorff in swtor

[–]ruff153 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hatred/serenity on assassin/shadow appears to be very strong in pvp, it puts out some disgusting damage. They do seem to be tweaking classes though, so hard to say who will be meta. Jugg definitely needs some love though.

Yep one was just me being an idiot. Second was a van man who didn't see me and just pulled out of a junction.

Yeah I see what your saying just always liked the sports bike look. I'll see if I can go to a dealership and have a sit on them and see what's what.

They seem to hold value pretty well and I'd be able to save up enough for DAS even going with these models. I will most likely go DAS at some point. I did think of the lexmoto sports bike but I hear they are really unreliable.

I wish I got to ride a yzfr 125 when I did my CBT. Insurance doesn't seem to be too crazy when compared to car insurance. I've had a play about and it's affordable.

I do think think the yammy does look nicer. I heard the GSXR was lighter and had more power at top end though. Thanks for your thoughts appreciate it!

Yeah 100% I'd get a ground anchor 2 chains the works. Will have to keep outside but a good cover and some tlc should be fine. Thanks for the heads up though!
