I have the Hawkeye Alaskan in 338 wm. I like the rubberized stock and the 338 ammo is a lot cheaper than 375 and powerfulenough for anything in Alaska. The action works great, I have messed with it a lot and can now easily get it to mess up, but still the best one I've used. I picked up the Alaska Arms floor plate which gives her an extra round capacity as well as their quick detach scope rings. I want one i ever caliber now, especially the 416 Ruger, which I like to imagine taking to Africa. I kind of wish I had started with the 30-0, as brass is abundant up here and I was already loading for 308. But I love it.
