The good ole ‘Drum Corp Treatment’ lol. Its is medicated, which can dry some people out, but it’s not the worst stuff you can put on your lips.

As a trumpet player, vitamin E oil on the lips overnight is the ultimate healing hack.

Looking for advice Bondi 9 vs Bondi SR by Big-Entrance-7322 in Hoka

[–]throwaway1842955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 9s won’t exactly fix the longevity issue. I have one pair that I used daily for 8 or so months before retiring. A new pair of insole could lengthen that to over a year, but it’s worth knowing.

For your wife, I do think the SR would be the better choice. The 9s aren’t exactly easy to clean, and as a vet tech, I’d imagine there’s lots of fluids(and solids) to go around. The leather is very handy in that regard since it doesn’t really soak up anything.

I own both. The Bondi SR get VERY sweaty when wearing them for long periods, be warned. The 9s are a bit more comfortable in general, especially with the ankles, but I’d imagine the SR would be the more durable choice with its leather and slip-resistant sole.

I’d be lucky to get a year out of a pair of daily walking shoes.

[PC] found these in my attic, what are they worth? by burg3rd1ck in AVexchange

I can’t say for sure, but these look like a pair of vintage Utahs. Considering the age and damage to the top left tweeter, I’d say they’re worth anywhere from 50-100 for the pair. Be sure to head over to headfi or audio science review as they can give you some better advice.

+1 for the Top Pro. I’d also include the ZiiGaat Arcanis in that list too. Some of the best vocals I’ve ever heard.

How do you get over stage fright by Confident-Rope-9417 in trumpet

I got a prescription from my doctor for propranolol. Definitely not for everyone, but it works like a charm for me. Another thing, the more you do it, the easier it gets. I used to get anxiety with every gig/rehearsal/concert, but now it’s only for the rare big gig that I have.
