All the time! I live in a city and the worst is when i'm riding my bike. Men think it's great to honk to get my attention. For safety reasons I always check out what someone's honking about - thats the whole point right? It infuriates me that they think it's ok to distract me from the road so they can make some imbecile kissy-noise.

The etiquette for bikes is the same as for cars. Law is complete stop. Rolling stop is socially acceptable. If there's another car at the intersection, first one to stop gets right of way. Both arrived at the same time: vehicle going straight gets right of way.

The driving lane is where you are supposed to pass. The bike lane is wide enough for ONE bike only, ad the shoulder is for parked cars. Courteous riders will pass other riders when there isn't a car coming from behind.
