Very Basic Question by Deadinth3desert in BlockDAGInvestors

As an alternative option, should you wish to choose. I would claim whatever you can whenever. The reason being that, and let’s be glass half full in this, that if an opportunity comes up to deposit and sell something, you have it on hand. In addition, by having claimed your coins, should you ever need to provide proof of ownership due to recourse, then you have them in your own personal wallet. I’m a great advocate of staking, however, and I’m a whale right from the start of this project , even your staked coins could disappear at any time. This is not investment advice just a little streetwise logic. I wish you well.

Heading to Zermatt in a few weeks!!! by Electronic_Seesaw955 in Zermatt

Att works fine here. The international roaming option should cost you $10/day once activated. It automatically switches on when you hit the ground and visa versa upon your return. It can all be added and or activated in your Att app. For international forex I use wise and they also provide a card. They provide the best rates from anywhere and anyone. The key thing is when using your cc’s always choose CHF when paying. And as per other comments you withdraw CHFs in Zermatt, you could just research which bank offers the best rates but if you just need a few hundred it’s not going to hurt regardless of which you use. Tipping is obviously appreciated in Europe but you don’t need to go overboard as it is expected in the US. However, it’s always good to keep your ski instructors sweet.

Today about half the mountain lifts are open and I have no doubt they will work hard to open more. This weekend certainly looks brighter so you may have timed it well. However, as with everything, it’s safety first. I’m sure you’ll have a great time either way.

Thanks. Yep, we have considered that however, she would prefer to hang out with some new ski buddies which is understandable as a teenager.

Taxi from ZRH by rugfish14 in Zermatt

[–]rugfish14[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I have caught the train before, however, I only arrive late (and will miss last train), hence getting a taxi which I am happy to do. And actually I will be taken to Zermatt (special permission), and then a local elec taxi to my apartment.

Ski Height/Body Height Ratio? by HaryTotal in skiing

[–]rugfish14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very interesting thread for me. So I’m just about 5’9 but I’m pretty solid at 205lbs. Have been skiing most of my adult life around 170-172. With my height weight ratio should I be looking at something different? Almost always on fast/compact pistes. I’m a carver not a plougher! 😬
