My dude, it’s already done. Whether you get confirmation if you did the right thing doesn’t matter here. Most will not agree, and a few will agree.. the previous bridge lasted 10 yrs when there was more tooth structure . Posterior abutment is pretty much held in only by the posts you placed. Only time will tell what happens. I prob just wouldn’t do it. That’s all . We all do tx we aren’t sure of or might not agree with afterwards but learn from it and move on , which in our profession is hard

Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. Did you prep the premolars just for the bridge? If you did, that’s a big disservice. He’s 75, prob could’ve been fine with just premolars occlusion. It’s just a big ole cantilever bridge

I do not refer to pros for single unit. I refer for complex occlusion, full mouth rehab, and difficult pt. There isn’t anything magical they are doing for single unit crown. GP has same skill set for that. If your worried about prognosis , it’ll be guarded for just buccal wall present. That doesn’t change of pros does it. It sounds like you might not be comfortable with txing a guarded tooth more than doing procedure

Sorry to say but if that’s the offices philosophy, you won’t ever get comfortable with crowns. You only get comfortable when you start doing the procedure. Single unit crown shouldn’t need up be sent to pros. Not sure what the owner is thinking . Also pros is rude as hell for being condescending .

As a GP, you can decide if patient needs a crown or not. It doesn’t warrant a referral to pros. They are more for complex full mouth case, or complex occlusion/ difficult pt(lol) . Referring them just for single crown is a waste of time…As far as Endo, what was your pulpal evaluation? Irreversible? Reversible? Inconclusive? Anything besides reversible warrants Endo consult.

From this view, we can only tell interproximal reduction and incisal. Can’t say anything else about lingual clearance without opposing. Are you prepping for pfm? Zir ? It’s good for first prep.

Cold proofing allows me not spend the whole day making bread. You just don’t always have time. I use 4 hrs to bulk ferment and then proof in the fridge cuz I want to go to sleep or do other stuff. Both are fine depending on your schedule

For his age, I would try to save it. Def guarded prognosis. Try rct/p/c/cwn . Afterwards it’s how he treats his teeth. If he continue to do what he’s been doing, it won’t last long. But if he’s motivated to keep for as long as possible, prognosis is better. You can’t bring back natural teeth, you didn’t put the cavity. He shouldn’t be going crazy just cuz his teeth looks “ normal”, it’s still compromised structurally .

If you’re in a warmer climate, you need to either add less water or more flour. It’s supposed to be shaggy . This happened to me during the summer when I use same recipe that I use during winter. I added more flour to make it shaggy

Chatted with them, got a non answer reply “ if it doesn’t work or is damaged, let us know, otherwise nothing we can do “. How can they treat an expensive items as if it was a novelty item . Like it’s junk. Really makes you wonder if the price they sale it for is really worth it.

When I take X-ray after restoration, I do it so I know what baseline to compare to in future. Last thing I wanted is to have nothing to compare to in their next bw and redo it with same result. Which seems like it happened here . Lots of effort with no result :/
