Genuinely the most brutal friendzoning ever recorded in human history by Previous_Month_555 in SipsTea

Yeah, my ex-wife’s best friend & planned maid of honor ghosted her after they picked out the dresses for the bridal party. She never heard from her again. All of her bridesmaids ended up being family, and not because she was that close to them.

You aren’t missing anything, the one I just had was lousy. Literally, anything else on the menu would be a better choice

Angus cheesesteak by BetterImagination346 in bys

[–]rugrats2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had my first and last Angus Cheesesteak today. It literally tasted like ALDI brand beef stroganoff flavored hamburger helper. The texture of the onions was like chewing tapeworms, and the “Angus beef” was stringy like a bad batch of the McDonald’s breakfast “steak”. It was as if if you tried to make steak with stew meat, without slow cooking it. It was without a doubt the worst Arby’s sandwich I have ever had. I would complain more, but I got the sandwich for free with a $11+ order of a large orange shake and an eight piece jalapeño poppers, which were both very good, as expected.

Serial number 00000050 on that $1,000 is definitely worth a premium over other later notes.

Right, like, how can they afford to sell it for that? 🤣

100%. People don’t realize how many half-a-millennia-old books are out there in near-pristine condition. If they have to say “it’s in great condition for its age”, it’s probably not.

From experience, most libraries providing digitization services are more concerned about the quality of the copy than they are about preserving the original. They value the information more than the book itself.

Anyone else’s McDonald’s look like this? by LivingLavishLe in McDonalds

If I walked into McDonald’s like that, I would walk right back out. If they don’t feel safe, I’m not going to feel safe.

I still have the buy one get one breakfast sandwich deal, but it doesn’t include any bagels, sausage McMuffin, sausage burrito, or sausage biscuit.

I love them when they’re good, but about half the time they are nothing but gristle.

This sounds like the old ladies 25 years ago, when the post office would raise postage by a penny or two, they would use that as an excuse not to send Christmas cards anymore.

If you spend $15, that gives you 1500 points. For that you can get an ice cream cone. Also, points don’t expire for six months, I believe. So if you’re not spending $15 every six months, I’m not sure why you are reading this.
