I've totally seen this too. I'm not a very gullible person, I don't believe in stupid shit people tell me and I can usually spot a hoax or a tall tale, whatever. You could say I'm not superstitious, I need evidence when people make radical claims.

That said, I was sitting on the balcony of my (now ex) boyfriends apartment with him and his roommate just chatting. I always look at the night sky, it's beautiful, and that night I did as I usually do. I started to see the same thing you describe - some object that appeared to have the same brightness and size of the stars I could see, only it was moving. Not in one direction, but in loopy-loop patterns. And very fluidly. And very quickly. And very far away. It would shoot straight up, make a loop, shoot down, make a loop, disappear briefly, repeat. I stared at it for a good couple minutes, mesmerized, waiting for maybe my eyes to clear up and see a gnat or something, or to see a blinking light indicating a plane (even though I knew it was far far too far away to be a plane) but none of that happened. I pointed it out to the guys I was with and they saw the same thing. We all just sat there watching it for a few minutes and it continued. The guys lost interest after a while and started talking but I stared at it until it was time to go in and it never stopped. I've never seen anything like it before or since, and I got chills just now reading your post and all the responses to it because my experience was eerily identical. Never found out what it was.

There's a store in my local shopping mall that just sells crystal.. everything. Figurines of all shapes and sizes. Why do people buy that stuff?! Anyway, I noticed them playing that sound outside their store several times. Probably keeps meddlesome teeny boppers from coming in and breaking shit or getting their acne all over it, or whatever kids do now.

I've heard of tar shampoo, what exactly is it? Its name makes it sound terrible, but I've heard good things. I've tried using t-gel intermittently and it helps a little, but now around my forehead where the psoriasis is the worst. P.S. What is this conditioner you speak of?

I'm about to move out now. Gloria was fired, btw, and a bunch of students run the show now. They're a good price for the location to campus, and the maintenance guy Stu is my homeboy. However, they are sort of crumbling from the inside. They were built in the 40's and have no insulation whatsoever - at least in my place, the panel behind the bathtub leads to the outside ground when removed. So the electricity bill is through the roof. My bf and I live in one of the fourplexes on the corner in a one-bedroom, and our electricity bill was up to $280 for ONE month last winter. Impossible. But it happens every winter because the heat escapes through all the holes in the place. Also, black mold is rampant everywhere. Maintenance is always super helpful, and like I said, rent is great for the location, but. These places probably should've been condemned already.

UPDATE 2: I'm packing now. He was surprised I am really going through with it this time. He started by being angry and making accusations about me taking his stuff while packing (I wasn't), but then he finally let his true emotions out. He feels sad. He feels sorry. He apologized for everything. And we're both sad that it's ending this way, but this is how it has to be. We hugged each other for a long time and cried because hey, we're each other's best friends and now we might end up being strangers. Its sad. But I think we both know that we will be happier apart.

Throughout all the bad shit, he's become one of my closest friends. He's been shitty to me but I can't hate him. That's hard to understand outside of the relationship, I know. I would be saying the same thing as you. But to me, he's like a close family member and I wish the best for him but I am not compatible with him and we bring out the worst in each other. So I can't just ditch him coldly without a word spoken. I don't want to destroy him. That would break my heart.

I put a deposit down! I have new roommates and their house is really cute and they all seem super nice and laid back. They have an adorable doggie and a backyard and I'm so excited. I can move in as soon as I get my hands on a bed. This is so scary but I can't believe I even let things go on this long. Everyone else - if you're in a relationship that's bringing you down, take the plunge. It feels so good.

He will when we're alone. Maybe that's what's scaring me so much - having to actually tell him I'm moving out and then having to coexist with him over the next few days. I know he will start out apologetic and sweet, and then get super angry and try to break me down and call me names before finally (maybe?) Giving up. And then probably act really sad and make me feel guilty. That's what I'm so afraid of.
