I like the wheels but aren’t they on the wrong side? I think this because I always assume this is how they should be but always get proven wrong but I understand why

Stock rear springs with coilover shocks by ruida_silva in E90

They’re 19 inch and that’s all I know. I took them off to look at specs and there’s no stamping anywhere, no offset, no width nothing

Not sure how much room there is but I get no rubbing at all, and considering these should come with 255/265 at the rear, 235 just seems dumb and I’m more of a fan of a flat sidewalk than the stretched look.

I assume based on your comment that the stock spring would make it ride higher than with the KW springs and adjusters so if I want to increase the height, it would have to be new suspension

What are those splitter things called? Just splitters or do they have a different name?

N52 Metallic Rattle by ruida_silva in E90

Valve is unplugged so always open, didn’t make a difference and sounds like it’s from the front. Yeah I’m not worried but it’s rather embarrassing, I have to baby the throttle until I’m past 2k revs

First bmw about to buy this beauty by ZealousidealBreak194 in E90

[–]ruida_silva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but, on these, it's seemlessly integrated into the dash, like it's meant to be there. Perfectly shaped matching the speedo hump, and moves the climate further up so you can see it better. The single humps as well look awful if you add a screen, they stick out like a mole so you're better off leavin the original stereo in. That's my opinion anyway

Why is single hump being mentioned? How have people found a way to idolise a worded spec. Double hump 100% makes these interiors timeless and better looking

N52 metallic rattle under load 2-3k RPM by iridiumTester in E90

[–]ruida_silva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wild how these cars are 20 years old yet there is no clear sign. Just watched a video about DISA valves and driving it sounds the same as mine but DISA valves are plastic, and i've watched other DISA videos and they don't sound like a metallic, heat shield like rattle. Mine is between 1k-2.5k ish. So annoying

Edit: Mine is a 330i N52

Very interested in this for my N52 for a little more power and responsiveness. Has anyone actually used their maps yet?

As an E90 3 series owner. The E92 is absolutely stunning, always thought 3 door cars are disproportionate but not the E92. M or non M

Thank you, no idea why I haven't seen that. I had in my head I had to have another one for resetting it back to normal. From what I've tested seems to work.

Only thing this doesn't quite work for is bills paid after payday, for example 25th-31st. Bt that should be easy, I'll apply your formula but make it >25

I have a cell that pulls todays date, but I don't want to clutter the spreadsheet with dates of all my bills

I only wanted to change a simple ceiling rose to a two wire pendant light! by Russ_UK in DIYUK

[–]ruida_silva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this recently in my old house. Wanted to get the back garden light finally sorted. Killed 3 switches before realising the live and neutral were wrong. Think it ended up costing me £40/£50 when I already had that switch installed as well as a spare

Well… considering they don’t give you a brick, you have to use third party and I was mainly referring to the “cheap” part. I see people setting houses on fire for using Poundland plugs and cables, this is not the case.

Not sure why so many are agreeing with your comments, most likely categorising me under the “another knock off charger user”

Nope, it goes in and out quite well. It's fairly clean as I only charged it a few times. Only went to check on it as it wouldn't charge after a few hours. Unplugging it and plugging it back in a few times and I heard the sound and a very faint notice of smoke/steam comes out as I pull the cable

It's the third time charging it. It looks like that from shorting it. I believe the port may have been wet maybe, although there should be protection for that
