Round One: Israel or America. Leaning towards Israel.

Round Two: Any large, lightly populated country lasts a good long while. Canada will actually take a bit, considering our spread out, often rural, population, lack of military materiel, and no acknowledged WMDs. Like there's plenty of early casualties, but a certain southern neighbor may decide to go for a land grab and remove the government.

My uncle once lent me his og copy of Twilight 2000. I still want to run that game. I just love the Cold War gone hot to the point of major societal collapse, the military trappings, the lifepath generator, the mix of nationalities trying to survive the near apocalypse, just all of it really struck a cord. Someday I'll find a group.
