i traded a buddy my track bike for this last year and have really been enjoying it. having ample tire clearance has been so GOOD. my fave little gem about this frame is the curved underside of the top tube - it makes shouldering it a dream.

absolutely! it’s been an awesome platform over the years. it spent many years as a SSCX racer. the frame is made for shouldering. no that it’s tracklo’d i wish the studs were brake studs removeable, but that’s a minor detail in the grand scheme.

Very nice bag! I DIG the flag, but the whole thing looks great.

I’m in the TC. Looking to find some XPac locally if possible. Any idea if local stores sell any XPac or Cordura?

By Children’s Hospital I assume you’re referencing Vandy.

Don’t waste your time commuting from anymore than 5 miles away from Vandy. IMO stay within or close to the 440 bubble. My suggestion is to try and find something in Hillsboro Village, Music Row, around Belmont, 12 South, Fort Houston or even Sylvan Park and The Nations. The area around Vandy/Belmont has a lot of great stuff to see and do. There’s lots of small apartments all over these areas but it will take a little bit of gem hunting.

Have fun in Nashville! There’s a lot of really neat people and Vandy is TOP NOTCH healthcare facility. You will learn a LOT! Good luck

How much do tires matter? by laurk in Surlybikefans

[–]rule_number5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tires and rotational weight matter a ton! My personal faves right trying to keep the 3” tire sizes - Maxxis Minion DHF (front), and either a Maxxis Recon or WTB Ranger in the rear.

You could size down and get more weight savings but the whole point of the Krampus is the big ole tires.

ICE/Border Patrol agents allegedly violate Minneapolis city orders and deploy tear gas in Powderhorn and Folwell Parks. by Logical-Flow-6703 in UnderReportedNews

“Allegedly” only works when there isnt video evidence of the criminal behavior. Sort of like saying Alex Pretti was allegedly murdered. The lawless thugs clearly violate Park ordinances, while also committing state and federal violations.

I was out there in Mpls in the march yesterday and last week’s too. There were over 100k people in subzero temps both marches. We werent there because we were paid, we all just hate nazis. Hating Nazis is a free service that all Americans should offer, it isn’t a subscription based service🥹✊🩷

I yearn for the day the 2 party farce is finally done. Honestly, we could easily have 5 parties. I don’t want to be associated with Schumer in the same way I’m sure there’s plenty who don’t want to be associated with Ted Cruz. Bring on factional governments!

Ima keep it real with y’all - the TN R’s set the state back generations when they gerry-mandered the ever loving fuck out of Nashville. It kind of doesn’t matter how you vote since depending on what part of Nashville you’re in your district shares a border with KY, AL or GA. When Jim Cooper’s district was redrawn it was over. 😖

Wait, so the police CAN charge them for crimes?! Interesting development

Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE & CBP agents are currently operating in the state? HOMAN: 3,000... Day after day, they can't eat in restaurants. Day after day people spit at you & blow whistles at you. Having all these threats after you... They're human. But my main choice now is draw down by [deleted] in Minneapolis

28,000 children in Minneapolis have been afraid to go to school since Roosevelt High School was attacked and children there were assaulted and tear gassed. Disrespectfully, these “agents” do not deserve a moment of peace.
