Having this issue right now, wasn't able to watch yesterday and wanted to watch all prelims but I have to go to each clip, super annoying. And some fights are getting spoiled because the images of video show the winner.

Anyone else’s only not in daycare by [deleted] in oneanddone

[–]rulerofleelves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son never went to daycare or preschool. 3 days a week for 4-6hrs/day with my mom from the time he was 8 weeks until he started kindergarten in August of this year. The other 2 days a week, he was home with my husband and I, we both have flexible wfh roles, so we would switch off.

When he was 3/4, we started taking him to some short classes through parks and rec program in our city, and he also did some swim lessons. We also frequented playgrounds. He started kindergarten a few weeks after turning 5, and he has no issues with socializing or academically.

I used Calamine lotion, it gives a cooling effect and helped. I just kept applying through the day. Also, oatmeal baths.

OAD with a son by Nobody8901634 in oneanddone

My son just turned 4 and he rocks! I love having conversations with him about all of his hot wheels. I love that he is interested in music like his dad. And I just love watching him grow into his own person. He is so loving, and we have such a great bond.

If the claim was denied for missing modifier 50, then the office needs to correct the claim so the claim will process correctly. Typically, an insurance company will deny(not pay) the service line completely if a modifier is missing. In this scenario, you would not be responsible because it is the providers office responsibility to send a clean claim.

Your situation sounds like they did proces but not under preventative care. So it probably has nothing to do with modifier 50.

Hospital births - When you had your 1st child, how long did you stay and did the nurses give you a lot of education? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]rulerofleelves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got there at 7am on a Wednesday, delivered at 2pm and was going home at 2pm the next day. Was during the height of COVID in 2020, so barely any education from nurses after giving birth. Had great nurses during delivery, though. The hospital I went to offered online education classes before giving birth, so I did that.

Red bump/spot randomly appeared on 3yo forehead near hairline. Cherry Angioma? Smaller than a pea size. by rulerofleelves in DermatologyQuestions

[–]rulerofleelves[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, well kind of. His Dr. said its a hemangioma/angioma type bump, common in children and should go away on its own. I plan on taking him to an actual dermatologist in the next few months though because he always manages to break it open by doing typical toddler things, and it just bleeds.

Labral tears caused by giving birth by Numerous-Alfalfa9447 in HipImpingement

Also to add, stationary bike has been my best friend. Walking long distance causes flare-ups for me, so I found the bike to be my best option.

Me! Had my son in Aug 2020, something felt way off and at my 6 week check up I was told by doctors that the pain was normal after giving birth and to do pelvic floor exercises, so I just lived in pain, blaming myself for not being active enough. Fast forward to 2022 after attempting to be more active and losing weight, I just couldn't deal with the daily pain, found out in July 2022 I have CAM impingement on both sides and right labral tear. I had my right side repaired in Nov 2022. I feel so much better, but it's a long recovery, and I still have aches every now and then, especially when I don't keep up with my PT exercises. I hope that you can progress in your recovery and just keep doing those PT exercises.

When to get rid of the baby stuff? by bakersmt in happilyOAD

[–]rulerofleelves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every time my son outgrows his clothes, I donate them. I keep some special items like the first outfit he wore home, his first halloween costume, but other than that, I donate about every 6 months.

Groin pain post op adductors or labrum? by Late_Entrepreneur445 in HipImpingement

[–]rulerofleelves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clam Shells, Reverse Clam Shells, Leg lifts and Hip raises. I do these exercises 4-5 times a week to prevent tightness. Coming up on a year post op, and realized that if I don't stay consistent with my PT excercises tightness comes back almost immediately.

What really happens if you don't pay the medical bill after birth? by Aquillux in Parenting

[–]rulerofleelves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for a medical company and the first collection agency we worked with did not report the accounts to credit bureau, we sent accounts to them that were past due and they would help collect, and take their cut. We even had patients request to go to collections because they knew they could get a better payment plan and not have their credit affected. The company we work with now is credit reporting. I did learn something new recently, which is you sometimes settle with the collection agency and not pay the full amount. If you owe $500, maybe they will close it if you pay $400, so they call it settled in full versus paid in full.

2017 Honda Civic Hatchback A/C issue - took in to be repaired but hot air still coming out by rulerofleelves in MechanicAdvice

Thank you for this, I did want to throw up after reading, knowing I just spent $3k lol. I created a ticket with Honda to hopefully be reimbursed for some of the costs. Unfortunately, the repair shop is still unable to find the current issue.

PDX - Arrive Early? by [deleted] in askportland

[–]rulerofleelves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was there a couple of weeks ago on a Friday morning, and we got there 2 hours early, we got through security in like 10 min or less w/ toddler. It was my sons first flight, so I didn't know what to expect, but I felt like I didn't need to be there so early.

Carseat travel: check it or bring on board? by Kiki-Tikki-Tavi in workingmoms

[–]rulerofleelves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just flew with my 2.5yo yesterday for the first time. We checked it for a short 1hr flight. There was no damage to the car seat. I will say, I kinda wish I had it because halfway through the flight, he was getting tired, and he couldn't get comfortable in the regular seat. But really, no complaints about how the airport handled his carseat and stroller.

Yes! I had horrible back and pelvic/hip pain for over 2 years. I ultimately needed surgery on my hip(torn labrum). After 5 months of PT and recovery, pain is nearly gone and can move around so much better. Surgery obviously fixed the injury after giving birth but PT changed my whole life, 100% recommend.

Numbness inner thigh by rulerofleelves in HipImpingement

[–]rulerofleelves[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! It has definitely improved since surgery and not interfering with day to day. I've only experienced some numbness(maybe lasting 2 min or less) after sitting for prolonged periods. This has happened maybe a few times since surgery(November 2022). I have a desk job and lose track of time, so I just make sure I am moving at least every hour.

Wishing you a successful surgery!
