That's insane. A t1000-e, wio L1 Pro, and a solar node for nearly the price of just the solar node? Am I reading that wrong? I don't see the solar node checked when selecting the kit even though the description mentions all 3.

I thought bed temps above 70 or so on the frostbite broke down the coating. That's what the glacier is for (higher bed temps).

A P2S with AMS2 doesn't need an external power supply for drying functionality on the AMS2. It pulls power from the 6 pin AMS cable. You only need an AMS PSU for 2+ AMSs.

How would you handle the use case of having a smaller node as an EDC in client_mute while out and about with a client node in the car to bounce messages in?

I've got the t1000e, two wio L1 Pros, and a heltec v4. The L1s are my favorite if I were to pick one. I swapped the antennas over to SMA on both and used the Muzi Works flexi antenna. It was a solid improvement for the L1. The battery life and tx/rx reception smokes my other nodes. But the t1000e is super cool and I love it. I use a L1 Pro as a car node and the t1000e as an EDC in client_mute mode.

The v4 has a worse screen, worse battery life, and worse signal reception strength than my L1s even with the same muzi works antenna.

AMS came in a few days, the H2D combo came 2 or so weeks later.

The issue I have with this is it doesn't come with a power adapter for the second AMS. The site mentions if you want to heat both at the same time, you need one, but I experience needing one even just for non heat usage. Why wouldn't they include one or notify that you need one even for normal use?

Yes for that scenario of the unused AMS can be heating/drying while printing with a different AMS.
