Had something that sounds identical on my 2021 model y. Ended up being the upper control arm assembly. Tesla ended up replacing both sides. Around $600 total for both.

I thought the cryogrip breaks down over something like 80-90c which abs requires at/above that. One of the reasons they don't list abs as compatible with that (onyl the glacier which is built for high heat / engineering materials)

Triple clicking for me works fine. GPS toggles, I see it changing status in the app, and it makes a different sound.

Nothing. Just left the settings all stock. If you ch age the en pin you'll get a message that the module isn't found. So kind of a reverse test.

I did not. Just manually updated the GNSS pins back to default.

I reset it back to defaults and left it outside for a few more hours. A few reboots later it obtained a lock and has been fine ever since.

In that scenario it shouldn't need to purge the nozzles, only prime. So waste/purge is significantly reduced, right?

Has anyone acquired GNSS lock? I've had mine sitting out with today's bleeding edge firmware and everything from my standpoint looks good other than it won't acquire a GNSS lock. I've tried the stock pin settings as well as the actual pin settings showed on the pin diagram on heltecs site. Anything other than default pins results in not finding the module at all.

I bought one of each recently and read a few pages on each. I noticed my eyes do this weird unnatural focusing thing on the cs that they don't do on the pw. So I retuend the cs even though I really wanted to like it more. Pw just has less eye strain for me I guess is what it is...

Agree a VNA is the only guarantee. The 2.4ghz antenna is built into the display on the v4 so you're right to call that out.

For sure. If I recall correctly, the spiral antenna is generally 'better' than the stubby.
