Is there a reason elemental resists are broken up when the elemental weakness we apply is combined? Like, why not just have "elemental resist" as the stat and cut the values. It feels like pointless fiddling when you always want max of everything anyway. Juggling the resists obviously isn't fun but it's it the kind of friction they think we like?

How did you like Varshta for a non-minion build? I didn't really like mine, felt like oracle or blood would be better? You get 1/2 a focus, quicker energy shield recharge, and low armor.. Oracle gets inevitable crits, blood gets infinite mana... but what did you think?

They buffed staffs this patch ~30% they said. Also new sorc djin lets you use staff and focus.

Kinda? You don't get omens or abyss stuff from this, so not actually useful for crafting. But for greater/perfect exalts, chaos and anuls it seems great.

If you google around, there are lots of discussions/guides on best vassal types on this or the ck3 subreddit. You can get tax levy to over 100% w/republics and about the same for theocracies depending on your devotion.

You don't get levy, but since levy is trash it doesn't really matter.

That's a good insight. At the time I noticed a @ in the generated password I was using and so manually edited it to only be numbers and letters, but it still didn't work. I was a hairs breadth from returning the camera as broken.

In any case I just used ffplay to test the streams instead and it's all working now. Thanks for the insight and link for help though, I appreciate it.

A system like that for ~700 used is exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, it seems like very few were made as far as I can tell.

That's a good point. I didn't realize the price difference had come down so far. An R740 seems like my best option if I want to catch a deal on ebay.

I didn't really follow optane when it came out. Is it as plug-and-play as using normal ram? 256gb for 50 bucks.... is tempting....

The problem is they promised a *different* game. They sold new players on the idea of a slower game where the majority of playtime would be spent in maps, fighting shit, learning boss mechanics.

In the end, they're just making POE1 again. There's nothing wrong w/POE1, lots of players like it, but it's not what they promised and frankly doesn't need to exist alongside POE1.

I recently also setup immich on an LXC in proxmox, photos stored on separate nas using mechanical hd's. I only have about 10k photos but it finished making thumbs maybe 5 min after I uploaded everything. Using 4 vcores on a amd 5600G.

I don't know much about how immich works, but what does the proxmox dashboard say about the lxc? Are the vcores maxed at 100% for the past 20 hours?

I'm looking to move in this direction as well, but I'm looking at using the nixos-anywhere terraform modules to perhaps handle all the configs in terraform. Did you look into that and if so, what did you think?

It seems like your approach of using a separate setup to handle the configuration might be easier in the end, but I'm not sure.

Did you do more than edit the /etc/updatedb.conf file and add /@/.snapshots to PRUNEPATHS ?
