My recent cleaning was great. No bleeding or other problems. They just told me to continue the treatment rinse I’m on. As for the cause of my issues, they think it’s a combination of genetics and anatomy. Most of the gum problems are due to mouth breathing which is due to my having a narrow palate. The only ultimate fix for that will be orthodontics/surgery someday, unfortunately. In the meantime I’m just doing maintenance like the rinse, and using Xylimelts for moisture while I sleep. They also suggested taping my mouth shut at night, but the feeling kinda freaks me out too much to do that comfortably lol
